The American Public Safety Association (APSA) is a nationally recognized organization Approved by CTDOT, dedicated to elevating the standards of traffic control and public safety across Connecticut and the United States. Founded with a mission to empower and unify Flaggers, APSA serves as a professional membership association committed to training, certifying, and supporting individuals in the field of traffic management.

We proudly represent a growing community of Certified Flaggers, many of whom are returning citizens, veterans, and individuals seeking meaningful, skilled employment. Through advocacy, education, and community partnerships, APSA connects its members with industry-leading resources, employment opportunities, ongoing professional development, and exclusive member benefits.
